Tracy and the Slanket

by Ian Lindsay 8. May 2009 05:52

Sure, you’ve seen the ads on TV.  But do you actually know anyone that actually owns a Slanket? Apparently I do, my sister-in-law (Tracy).

My brother-in-law (Steve) and his wife (Kate) decided to get Tracy a Slanket as a gift.  Birthday, I think?  So what was the first thing Tracy decided to do with her new Slanket?  Where it to a tailgate for a Steelers playoff game tailgate.

Playoffs you say…  I bet the news crews were there.  Yes, you are correct, sir.  The local news crews were at the stadium parking lots to interview the tailgaters.  Tailgating is as much of a sport in Pittsburgh as football is after all!

You know where I am going with this, don’t you?  As soon as they spotted Tracy, you just knew she would end up on the nightly news!  Below is the link to the video snippet of the tailgaters on the news.

I hear there was also an interview as well.  Looks like that ended up on the cutting room floor.  (Could be a good thing…)
